Gas contamination signaling devices explosion-proof SGS-902 (further - signaling devices) are intended for continuous control of a gas contamination of the atmosphere by combustible and toxic gases.

Scope - control of the atmosphere of industrial facilities in the course of production and oil refining and gas, at the industrial enterprises of chemical, metallurgical industry, in warehouses fuels and lubricants and other toxic and combustible liquids and gases.

Signaling devices are intended for operation at a temperature from minus 20 to 50 °C and relative humidity of air to 95% at a temperature of 35 °C.

Food of signaling devices is carried out from ^{the alternating current main of (220+10-15) B} by frequency (50 ± 1) Hz.

Signaling devices consist of the device of threshold UPES-902, sensors gas thermocatalytic DGT-902, electrochemical DGE-902 and the BP-902 power supply unit. Sensors thermocatalytic DGT are issued for control of concentration of combustible gases (methane, propane, butane, acetylene, acetone). Sensors electrochemical DGE are issued for control of concentration of toxic gases (carbon oxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide). A way of supply of gases - diffusive.

DGT-902 and DGE-902 sensors are issued with the built-in alarm system and without it.

SGS-902 signaling devices containing DGT-902 and DGE-902 sensors with the built-in alarm system can be delivered without device of threshold UPES-902 and the BP-902 power supply unit.

Sensors have explosion-proof execution with a type of explosion protection "an intrinsically safe electric chain of "i" in accordance with GOST P 51330.10-99 and "an explosion-proof cover" in accordance with GOST P 51330.1-99 with explosion protection marking 1ExibdIIBT6 for DGT-902 and 1ExibIIBT6 for DGE-902 in accordance with GOST P 51330.0-99. Sensors are connected to the threshold UPES-902 device with marking of explosion protection [Exib] of IIB in accordance with GOST P 51330.0-99 out of an explosive zone through the intrinsic safety barriers which are built in UPES-902.
