Sivtsev's table represents a standard set of printed characters for determination of visual acuity of the person. Sivtsev's table consists of a combination of seven different letters of the different size but equal on the width and height. According to conditionally accepted standards, an eye with 100% sight (V=1.0) is capable to distinguish two remote points with the angular resolution of 1 minute (or 1/60 degrees).
In the offered Sivtsev's table soderzhitya a set of printed characters for determination of visual acuity in the range of 0.1 - 5.0 from distance of 5 m, and the first 10 rows (with V = 0.1 - 1.0) differ in a step in 0.1, the subsequent two rows (V=1.5 - 2.0) - in 0.5, and three additional rows (V=3.0 - 5.0) - in 1.0.
