Sleeves rubber pressure head with a textile framework are intended for work as flexible pipelines for giving under pressure of liquids, saturated steam, gases and bulks in regions of a temperate, tropical and frigid climate.
Sleeves consist of an inside rubber layer, one or several layers of a textile framework and an external rubber layer.
Depending on purpose of a sleeve are subdivided into classes:
- B (I) - gasolines, kerosene, mineral oils on an oil basis;
- In (II) - water technical (without additives), solutions of inorganic acids and alkalis concentration to 20% on weight (except solutions of nitric acid);
- VG (III) - hot water;
- (IV) - air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and other inert gases;
- Steam - 1 (X) - saturated steam;
- Steam - 2 (X) - saturated steam.
Sleeves of the classes B(I) (gasoline), B(II) (water), P(VII) (food), Sh(VIII) (plaster) have 3 - fold margin of safety, the classes VG(III) (hot water), G(IV) (gas), Couples - 1 (X), Couples - 2 (X), have 5 multiple margin of safety.
The minimum radius of a bend of sleeves at operation has to make:
- with an internal diameter (d) from 12 to 32 mm inclusive = 12 d;
- from 38 to 50 mm inclusive = 15 d;
- from 60 and above = 20 d.
Temperature of operability of sleeves in areas moderated (At), tropical (T) and a frigid climate (HL) and depending on a working environment, in °C:

Sleeves of classes B (I); In (II); P are made (VII) to dia. from 16 to 150 mm, on pressure from 6,3 to 20 atm. , long from 4 m to 20 m, the fabric braid is made of the combined or cotton fabrics.
