SLINGS ROPE

Slings rope have an appearance of the rope weaved out of several branches. Mnogovetvevy rope slings have from two and more ropes connected together by a steel ring. The quantity of ropes and ways of capture of freights differ depending on the nature of load-lifting or construction works.

Slings rope loopback are excellent means when transporting especially heavy and large-size freights having special loops, brackets or eyes for capture. A two-loopback rope sling - the part of a rope twirled since both ends in loops at capture of freight passes through rings and openings, increasing, thus, durability and reliability of fastening. Resistance of a rope to sharp loadings very high. Destruction such a sling not instant, it it is possible to notice at an early stage and to avoid accident. Despite advantages, slings rope cargo have big weight and are less convenient in comparison with other types a sling, they are not recommended to be applied in chemically active environments, during the works with fragile freights.

Slings rope loopback have the high bearing ability and are rather flexible. Temperature range of use of such slings from-50 to +400 °C. Steel slings are more injury-causing, than chain and furthermore - textile, however steel rope slings are most widespread in Kazakhstan.

Slings rope are made according to GOST 25573-82 "Slings cargo rope general purpose. Requirements to the device and safe operation", these requirements are approved by Gosgortekhnadzor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to GOST 25573-82 slings which branches are made of ropes with the organic core are allowed to be applied to transportation of the freights having temperature not above 100 °C, and slings which branches are made of ropes with the metal core with seal of the ends by the aluminum plug, – to transportation of the freights having temperature not above 150 °C. Reduce by 25% the loading capacity of slings with branches from a rope with the steel core at cargo transfer which temperature 250... 400 °C, and are not allowed at all cargo transfer which temperature is above 400 °C.
