Temperature at which alpha methylstyrene begins to boil makes 165 degrees, at the same time it melts at - 23. Practically it is not dissolved in water (solubility makes only 0,01% ). On the I act methylstyrene it is very similar to styrene.
Application
Alpha methylstyrene in most part is applied to production of plastic of various types, latex, mastics and similar products. The following industries need it: oil and gas, chemical, household. In particular by means of methylstyrene I receive all familiar packages. Liquid can easily ignite.
