Main features:

• Existence of the unidirectional ratchet mechanism intended for symmetric bilateral cutting of a cable unlike a pluzhkovy knife when which using two times cutting of a cable was required;
• SNR - STP - C3 is used for cutting of a cable with a diameter from 10 to 30 mm;
• It is equipped with two knives with the adjustable depth of promotion;
• For convenience of adjustment of knives there is a millimetric scale.

Operation and application:

• The STP - C3 case includes handles, brackets, regulators of the ratchet mechanism, an edge, scales of adjustment of edges directing cores, regulators of provision of an edge, tightening the mechanism and other elements;
• The regulator of setup of the ratchet mechanism can be rotated in any party.

Cutting process:

Cross cutting of a cover of a cable:

• Turn off the screw of the tightening mechanism and reveal him, establish edges in situation 0. Install regulators of the ratchet mechanism as shown in the scheme 2;
• Separate the left and right brackets of STP - C3, and then close them around a fiber - optical cable;
• Close tightening the mechanism and tighten its screw;
• Turn the handle of turn of an edge as shown in the scheme 1 on the right, rotating the regulator of provision of an edge, establish edges of edges on the necessary depth of incision and turn STP - C3, then again establish edges of edges on the necessary depth of incision, and again turn STP - C3 until the cover of a cable is cut;
• Establish edges in an initial position.

Longitudinal cutting of a cover of a cable:

• Turn off the screw of the tightening mechanism and reveal him, establish edges in situation 0. Install regulators of the ratchet mechanism as shown in the scheme 2;
• Separate the left and right brackets, and then close them around a fiber - optical cable;
• Close tightening the mechanism and tighten its screw, turn regulators of the ratchet mechanism so that they squeezed a surface of a fiber - optical cable;
