Description
The SRM3500 model is based on architecture of a series 3000 and provides similar functions of safety of a communication channel. For this purpose can be used both special processors of through enciphering (Tamper), and a smart card. Activation of function of through enciphering (E2EE) requires only updating of the software.
The interface of the user is general for all products of Sepura, and, therefore, gives an opportunity to be integrated easier into already existing systems and allows to save time for training. The SRM3500 model as all Sepura terminals, possesses unique function: all text can be displayed by large letters (twice more than usual) for ensuring the best legibility. During the emergency call the display changes color with red to green, showing to the user when the terminal is in process of transfer or reception.
The SRM3500 model was developed for support of all services of data transmission defined in TETRA at the moment, namely transfer of status messages, SDS, data with circuit switching and package data. Considering need of obtaining high speeds of data transmission, the Sepura company developed the SRM3500 terminal which supports continuous work in the mode of four timeslots, the greatest possible speed of data transmission when using the TETRA standard thereby is reached.
The GPS receiver can be built in the SRM3500 model. Except a standard possibility of information transfer about location, the mobile device can send GPS information on the current location at activation of the "lonely worker" mode (lone worker) or emergency call. In crisis situations when location of the user is known, it allows to provide the necessary help in time.
The terminal can be used without console, under control of appendices of the third-party developers using TETRA as a transport network.
For satisfaction of requirements of communication networks of different function the SRM3500 terminal allows to establish the required output power of the transmitter to 10 W as the trunking mode (TMO), and in the mode of direct link (DMO).
The SRM3500 terminal has the Russified interface.
