The Finnish company Kastor represents new wood Kamenka of an elite class – Kastor Saga. Its design is impressive and monumental, lines are pure, and each element is carefully adjusted. Engineers were faced by a task to make exclusively reliable and stylish Kamenka which would give unsurpassed steam. It managed to achieve due to use of the best constructional steel of the Finnish hire, and also a singular solution of a fire chamber which provides durability of Kamenka and the greatest possible warming up of 150 kg of stones.
The design of Kamenka is executed so that all 150 kg (200 kg for the Saga 27 model) stones as much as possible got warm including because practically all stones are in direct contact with a fire chamber. It also allows to minimize rigid infrared radiation from the heated metal that does climate in a steam room rather soft. Heat from stones effectively solves one more problem – levels temperature on bath height. Lack of a casing convector allows not to overdry air in a steam room. One more advantage of Kastor Saga – the minimum safe distance to combustible materials which makes only 25 cm around Kamenka.
