The production of a single - seam electric - welded thin - walled stainless steel pipe is carried out on a high - performance line with program control at the JSC "Flexible Pipelines" plant in Ufa. The line includes pipe welding machines, as well as auxiliary equipment, and allows the production of pipes from AISI 304, AISI 321 steel with diameters from 6 to 350 mm. Stainless steel round pipe AISI 304, AISI 321.
For the production of a thin - walled stainless pipe, a tape (strip) is used from corrosion - resistant and heat - resistant austenitic steel with a low carbon content of the AISI 304 grade (similar to 08X18H10T) or AISI 321. Welding is performed automatically in a special gas environment that prevents alloying metals from burning out. The extra - thin special - purpose stainless steel pipes produced in this way are absolutely resistant to corrosion, high temperatures and aggressive media.
