Elamed of TVGD - 01 is the contactless tonometer allowing quickly, simply and, above all - without any risk for eyes to measure the level of intraocular pressure ranging from 5 to 60 mm hg. Thanks to the fact that measurements are taken through an eyelid and allow to avoid any contact with an eye cornea, procedure is painless and safe as the similar method excludes probability of entering of an infection and does not demand administration of the anesthetizing substances. The principle of operation of this device consists in a method of measurement of a free period of elastic system (namely rogovoyets of an eye which is covered a century). The electromagnetic vibrator which equipped a tonometer allows to transform mechanical oscillations to a signal of fluctuations electric on the basis of which, actually, and the level of intraocular pressure can be determined. At the same time influence of a century on indications does not happen as during procedure there is a static compression of a century a rod. Instrument readings are displayed on the built - in display.
