Topographic survey (topographical survey)

Topographic survey is necessary for design, obtaining the construction license and commissioning of real estate objects.

Topographic survey, especially large scale, is the most demanded type of geodetic engineering. Needs for it can arise at researches, updating of topo maps, drawing up general plans, drawing up working drawings, for the solution of a vertical layout and landscaping design. On the basis of topographic survey it is possible to construct digital model of the district.

Topographical plans of scale 1:500 intend:

- for drawing up executive, a master plot plan of a site of construction and working drawings of multi-storey capital building with a dense network of underground communications, the industrial enterprises, for the solution of a vertical layout, drawing up plans of underground networks and constructions and type-design adjustment and constructions to construction sites in the built-up territories of the city;

- for drawing up working drawings of dams of a head node of daily run-off ponds, leveling mines, pressure head pipelines, buildings of hydroelectric power station, portals of tunnels, approach entries of mines (for arch and derivational hydroelectric power stations).

Topographic survey of M 1:2000 is necessary for design on large arrays, developments of projects of a detailed design, correction of the existing masters plot plan of settlements, etc. Detailing level on topographical plans of M 1:2000, is defined, as a rule, by the Customer by means of the specification or the program of performance of work, under specific needs. Often works will be performed without research of engineering networks.
