This machine is designed to solve the key task of sawmill production - the primary processing of round wood with a capacity of 100 or more cubic meters. m. per shift. SB2v - 340 disk cant saw (circular saw, log saw) machine is designed for the primary processing of medium - diameter roundwood into a carriage and a board. The machine is designed to work as part of a sawmill stream with a capacity of 100 cubic meters. per shift and above with a high degree of automation of operations.
The machine is made according to the scheme with two shafts, each cut is performed by two circular saws located in the same plane, which makes it possible to obtain an acceptable cut thickness and use relatively inexpensive and affordable standard saws of various manufacturers with a diameter of 500 mm.
The canter SB2v - 340 is equipped with: a log tilter for faster and easier positioning in the most advantageous position for sawing.
A very useful option of the canting machine SB2v - 340 is the exhaust "toothy" ripples, the drive of which is synchronized with the drive of the log feed into the sawing area. The presence of these ripples allows you to maintain a package of sawn material at the exit of the machine, makes the work of accepting sawn products easier and safer for the staff, and allows you to automate the entire process of the line for sawing large timber and thin wood.
