Recommendations about installation of vapor barrier of ROOFBOND
ROOFBOND serves for protection of a heat-insulation layer in roofs (walls) from penetration of vapors from within the room.
ROOFBOND is established from the inside of the warmed roof (wall) on a sropil or on a black covering by means of the construction stapler or galvanized nails.
Installation of vapor barrier is conducted from below up by horizontal panels with an overlap with overlapping on horizontal and vertical joints not less than 100-150 mm.
Material has to adjoin densely the smooth party to a heater.
When finishing the room lining (gypsum cardboard, plywood and so forth) vapor barrier fastens to a framework down the wooden laths processed by an antiseptic.
Internal finishing of the room fastens to a rack framework with a ventilating gap of 40-50 mm.
For the best fastening in places of an overlap it is recommended to use the connecting tape SP-1.
