Explosion-proof lamps from stainless steel for linear luminescent lamps of the VELAN41 and VELAN41-AK series (with a possibility of work from accumulators) are intended for stationary installation at the industrial enterprises dangerous for explosive gas and dust, in compliance with explosion protection marking.
Features
The case from stainless steel allows to use lamps in productions with especially hostile environment. Stainless steel – one of the most chemically resistant materials.
Application of electronic PRA allows:
- to achieve increase in service life of lamps, cutting down expenses on service
- relieves of blinking of lamps at turning on of the lamp (instant start)
- provides high power factor of cos φ ≥ 0.98. There is no need in addition to install the compensator
Possibility of installation in the lamp of the block of the emergency control with the accumulator ensuring autonomous functioning of the lamp of 1 o'clock by the special order 3 hours.

Design
- The lamp consists of the case manufactured of stainless steel which forms a blast-tight cover with a type of explosion protection "е".
- Protective glass – heat-resistant, especially strong, with high light-transmitting ability. Maintains hit of a cold stream of water on the working lamp without loss of strength characteristics.
- In the case the cartridge, terminal clips for power connection and EPRA are established. At the order of the lamp with the accumulator, the accumulator and the explosion-proof control unit in addition is installed.
- Cable inputs for connection of a cable are established from two opposite lateral faces of the lamp, providing transit laying of a cable.
- In and outside of the lamp bolts of grounding of M5 are established.
