Toshiba continuously seeks to improve quality of air by means of household conditioners. In 2011 there was a new effective IAQ filter protecting you and your house from adverse effects of environment:

The system of self-cleaning Toshiba interferes with a moisture congestion on the heat exchanger, preventing formation of a mold in the conditioner. At switching off of your conditioner, the fan of the internal block works 20 more minutes, draining the heat exchanger then it is switched off automatically.
New Toshiba conditioners are designed with use of the latest technologies, and also taking into account the standards directed to environment protection. The model range includes a wide choice of the conditioners which are specially calculated on R-410A coolant use.
R-410A coolant is safe for an ozone layer of Earth, nonflammable, nontoxical and extremely energy saving coolant. Its zero coefficient of destruction of an ozone layer meets the most strict requirements on environment protection established by the Montreal protocol which already came into force in some countries of the world.
The Montreal protocol provides compulsory introduction since 2004 of the global schedule of the gradual termination of use of old coolants (such as R22), they will be completely forbidden by 2020.
