Disinfecting - disinfection of drinking water

Water disinfection (water disinfecting) – a package of measures, undertaken for the purpose of water purification from microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, tsist, etc.). As show numerous researches, quality of drinking water substantially depends on a method and the mode of its disinfecting. The existing methods of disinfection of drinking water subdivide on reagent, bezreagentny and combined.

Treat reagent methods of disinfecting of water:

• water chlorination ,
• water processing by chlorine dioxide ,
• water ozonization ,
• water silvering (water processing by silver ions, an oligodinamiya) - silver water ,
• bromination of water and iodination of water .

Treat bezreagentny methods of disinfecting of water:

• ultra-violet disinfecting of water - UF water disinfecting ;
• ultrasonic processing of water

In the combined methods of disinfection of water two ways of disinfecting or two disinfectants, one of which is capable to keep the activity in water for a long time, are applied.
